Thank you for visiting Hit It Music Productions

  • We are a fully Licensed and Insured Mobile Disc Jockey company. We have performed at all types of events over the past 12 years, from 50th wedding anniversaries to elementary school dances. We have performed at celebrations with 5,000 people in attendance, and we have performed at weddings with 30 people in attendance. There is really no event too big, or too small for us to handle.

We come supplied with over 4,500 songs to each of our events. We carry everything from Glen Miller to Snoop Dogg. We take great pride in our music selections that we play, and we always make sure they are appropriate for the occasion. We stick to the guidelines that our clients give us, and follow our timelines to a tee.

One of the reasons that we have had so much success over the years is because of the referrals that we receive on a regular basis. We invite you to take a look at the rest of our site, and please feel free to email or call us with any questions. Thanks!

    Things We Don't Do

As you probably know, the Disc Jockey is a big part of your event. Here is a list* of some of the things that a DJ could do to make your day a negative experience.
  • Show up late
  • Dress inappropriately
  • Hack you or your guests names
  • Bring a friend to your event
  • Ignore you and not play any of the songs you requested
  • Play all the songs you didn't want played
  • Rip off their shirt and swing it around their heads
  • *We would like to let you know that we don't do any of these!

Our Ten Commandments

  1. We always try to arrive at least 45 Minutes to 1 Hour before our designated start time.
  2. We always dress appropriate for the event at hand. Example: Wedding (tux or shirt & tie).
  3. We always try to accommodate music request from you and your guest.
  4. We never take breaks, and the music never stops. (Unless the client specifies).
  5. If the volume of the music is too high, we always follow the instructions of the customer or the hotel/ site management.
  6. We operate our business legally and legitimately with our music purchasing, city licensing, and our liability insurance.
  7. We never ask for gratuity, although it is welcome and appreciated.
  8. We don't bring friends along to hang out.
  9. We don't act cheesy or ham it up on the mic.
  10. We always treat people how we would want to be treated.

The Only Choice

"Coming from a musical background myself, I was very picky when choosing someone else to dj my party. David was recommended by a friend and we just 'hit it' off. David amazed me with his talent and professional attitude. This is the only choice for a DJ in San Diego."
